Rederij Groen from Scheveningen acquires a 50% stake in the GloMar Group in Den Helder. With this partnership both companies will be able to expand their activities and commercial opportunities. Financial details for the transaction were not disclosed.
Rederij Groen is already more than 30 years active in the offshore industry and built up a worldwide reputation in seismic support-, chase- and guard operations. In the last few years the company introduced her own new built program for chase vessels and modernized the fleet.
GloMar Offshore situated in Den Helder, The Netherlands, provides the complete package and solution to the offshore industry. Glomar Offshore operates a fleet of diverse purpose built vessels, state-of-the-art equipment and highly skilled personnel. GloMar Offshore comprises of four well-established divisions providing emergency rescue and response vessels a range of subsea services as well as offshore wind Service Operation Vessels (SOVs) to the offshore oil, gas and renewable energy sector.
Combined Rederij Groen and the Glomar Offshore now have the ability to grow and expand further among its existing and new client base in the North Sea.
